Bird Husband Mourns Dead Wife !!
And many people think animals don’t have emotions.
His wife was seriously injured.
She was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road.
He brought her food and tended to her with love and compassion.
He brought her food again but was shocked to find her dead.
He tried to move her….a rarely-seen effort for swallows.
Aware that his mate is dead, he cries with adoring love.
He stood beside her, saddened by her death.
Finally, he stood beside her body with sadness and sorrow.
People cried after seeing these pictures when they were published in the leading newspaper in France.
All copies of the paper were sold out on the day the pictures were released.
- Two-legged dog gives hope to disabled vets…!!
In Pic: Faith, who was born without front legs, suprises those walking down Michigan Avenue in Los Angeles.
Born without front legs to a junkyard dog around Christmas 2002, Faith, the puppy, was rejected and abused by her mother. She was rescued by Rueben Stringfellow.. Rueben turned Faith over to his mother, English professor, Jude Stringfellow. At first the family had to carry Faith to keep her off her chest and chin. But with peanut butter and practice, Faith learned to walk on her two hind legs.
Since that day on March 22, 2002, Faith has done the talk show circuit, gone on tour with Ozzy Osbourne and been named an honorary Army sergeant. Jude Stringfellow has become a motivational speaker, written two books about Faith and is working on a third, “Faith Walks.”http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/17/two-legged-dog-faith-walk_n_396195.html

- Animals are just like us….
A Walrus reacts after being presented with a birthday cake made from fish. Too adorable. Happy Birthday Big Guy.

Turtle Hatchling!!
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before beginning to improve the world. ~ Anne Frank

The Scarlet Ibis inhabits tropical South America and islands of the Caribbean. In form it resembles most of the other twenty-seven extant species of ibis, but its remarkably brilliant scarlet coloration makes it unmistakable.
This medium-sized wader is a hardy, numerous, and prolific bird, and it has protected status around the world. Its IUCN status is “least concern”.

Fruit Eating Bat !!
This fruit-eating bat is taking off after it grabbed and ripped off a ripe fig fruit from a branch. The bat will now fly to a feeding roost where it will eat the fig by squeezing all sugary liquid out of it. The dry flesh and all the seeds will be dropped to the ground – and maybe a new fig will sprout there one day. Fruit eating bats play an important role as seed dispersers in most tropical forests around the world.

Lion Couple !!
These two Marsh Pride lions were so sweet with each other. They flirted and licked each other on the face; they clearly had an affinity for each other.

Pond Slider Turtle.
These aquatic creatures can range from 5 to 12 inches in size and are encompassed by an oval carapace or hard shell. Young hatchlings have a green carapace and skin with markings and stripes dependent upon their species. With age the carapace and skin become less distinct because of the increase in black pigment.
In nature, sliders usually live in swampy areas where there is a lot of mud and vegetation, such as shallow ponds and lakesides In addition to swimming and digging in rocks and mud, sliders love the warmth of the sun, and can lazily lay there for hours, before returning to the water for a swim. Sliders are also omnivorous, although they tend to eat less meat as they grow older

Knob-Tailed Gecko!!
Knob-tail geckos are some of the most fascinating lizards in the world. Their large eyes, big heads, and small tails make
for an odd combination resulting in a comical appearance.

Shark Hypnotist!!
Brave Andre is able to hypnotise sharks by simply tickling their snout, one of its most sensitive places, causing the animal to become overwhelmed by the stimulation.

Radiated Tortoise!!
Although Radiated tortoises are native to and most abundant in southern Madagascar, it can be also be found in the rest of this island, and has been introduced to the islands of Réunion and Mauritius. As the Radiated Tortoises are herbivores, grazing constitutes 80-90% of their diet, while they also eat fruits and succulent plants. A favorite food in the wild is the Opuntia cactus. They are known to graze regularly in the same area, thus keeping the vegetation in that area closely trimmed. They seem to prefer new growth rather than mature growth because of the high-protein, low-fiber content. These tortoises are, however, endangered, mainly because of the destruction of their habitat by humans and poaching.
